GIRL CITIZENS IN CAMP.
The annual Easter camp of the Auckland Girl Citizens was held as usual at the Y.W.C.A. Holiday House, Blockhouse Bay. Dormitory, balconies, and ten-t held their full quota, and • in all some 65 campers were in residence. The programme, though full, was a- varied one and provided every opportunity for recreation. music, sport and work, as well as group discussions and Bible study. The subjects for dicussion were chosen by the girls and were based on " The differences between Christ's citizenship and the attitudes and standards of the average girl"; " Our attitudes to work, as contrasted in many cases with Christ's"; and " Our responsibility to prevent war." Special services were hold on Good Friday and Easter Sunday, and the vesper time at (lie end of each, day was always appreciated. Miss Jean Begg, general secretary of the Y.W.C.A., was present, also Miss Leila Bridgman, national chief counsellor of girl citizens, and Miss A. McCrea, chief counsellor of the Auckland Girl Citizen Community. The household affairs were under the management, of Miss A. Wills, matron of Holiday Hcfuse, while the organisation and carrying out of duties and programme were in the hands of tho girls themselves.
