MOTOR-CAR OVERTURNS.
ACCIDENT AT A CORNER.
Injuries to thei head were sustained by Mr. Hubert Fail well, of Oi&huku, when a car, driven by Mr. Jack Taylor, of 55, Symonds Street, overturned at the corner of Shore Boad and Arnoy Road, Keoiuera, about -'5.45 last evening. Air. Taylor escaped with minor abrasions, and after receiving treatment at the Auckland Hospital was able to go home. Mr. Fallwell's condition is not thought to be serious.
The accident was due to a skid as the corner was being turned, the car striking the kerbsidft. The occupants were throwa out as the car overturned.
Ma. George Brcwn, Street, Northcote, was thrown from his motor-cycle in Queen Street, Northcote, on Saturday evening when trying to avoid some children. He received cuts on the face which required stitching, and abrasions on the legs. He was able to go home after receiving medical attention.
