FAREWELL EVENING.

An evening which look tho form of a farewell was held in the Glen Afton Hall on Friday, the guest of honor being Mr. George Herbert Edwards, who is leaving the district shortly. On behalf of tho gathering Mr. E. Scfton presented Mr. Edwards with mementos of esteem. The music for dancing was supplied by Mrs. Brooks, Huntly, and Mr. J. Allen, and extras were played by Miss M. Greeno, also of Iluntly, and Mr. J. Pears, of Pukemiro. Among those present were:— Mesdames, Moloney, D. Thomas, F. Milner, J. Cairns, J. Adams, Batt, \V. Brown, J.
