PROPOSED LOAN OF £ 676,000 FOR THE GENERAL EXTENSION AND IMPROVEMENT OP THE ELECTRIC SUPPLY UNDERTAKING- IN THE AUCKLAND ELECTRIC-POWER DIB- - The Auckland Electric-Power Board hereby gives notice in pursuance of Section 10 of the above-mentioned Act:— 1. Tha* the purpose foi which the loan is required is the General Extension and Improvement of the Electric Supply Undertaking, m the Auckland Electric-Power District. •2. That the Auckland Electric-Power Board, being unable to provide the neccssar > funds for such purpose out of its ordinary revenue, proposes to borrow the sum of £676,'>00. That the pr-tposeci security for the repayment of such loan shall be a spenia- rat* of one-fifth of a penny in the pound on all ratable property in the Auckland Electric-Power District. 4. Tljat the Auckland Electric-Power Board proposes to make such loan repayable in twenty-ono (21) years, und propose i to make provision for tho payment of a Sinking Fund of not leas than Two Pounds Ten Shillings (£2 10s) per centum per annum. 5. Thai the Auckland Electric-Power Board proposes to pay out of such loan, such costs, charges and expenses, as the Auckland Electric-Power Board may determino to have been actually incurred in connection with such loan, but not, the Interest and Sinking Fund thereon for tho first vear.
