In the Sheffield Shield Match Victoria versus Queensland Victoria, who had made 259 against their opponents' 97, in their second innings made 344 for seven wickets and declared. Rigg made 38, Scaife, 36; Ellis,'lo7 not out; Wilkinson, 56. Thurlow took three wickets for 102 and Amos, two for 89.

Queensland, in their second innings have made 88 for no wickets.
