While exercising the racehorse Master Arch over hurdles on the Paeroa racecouiiie, H. Preston, a stablehand employed by Mr. W. Donaldson, was thrown heavily in front of the stand. He waß unconscious when picked up, and & medical examination disclosed a deep cu. above his left eye, and a twisted shoulder. Preston is making a S cod recovery. - • *
