ALTERATION OF ARTICLES.

POSITION OF FOREIGNERS.

British Wireless. RUGBY. Dec. 14. At an extraordinary general meeting in London of the Marconi International Marino Communication Company, alterations were made in the articles of association, providing that at no time should more than 25 per cent, of the issued shares of the company be in the hands or under the control of persons not of British nationality The amended articles also provide -that no person .ither than a British subject shall be qualified to hold office as a director 0' the company, provided always that this prohibition shall not apply to t.he present d:~ectors.

Signor Marconi, who presided, said it would be Unfortunato if tho improssion got abroad that tho company was not now, and had not always been, under British control.

Mr.' F. S. Kellaway, the managing director, said the board had not been inspired by any academic opposition to tho employment of foreign capital. It would always bo glad to sec foreigners interesting themselves in tho fortunes of tho company.
