The memory of the late Captain Roald Amundsen, the famous Norwegian ex-plorer,-who was lost while searching for members of Gene:ral Nobile's North Pole expedition, was the isubject of homage to-day on the occasion of the anniversary of his. discovery of the South Polo. All traffic was stopped for two minutes at Oslo and Copenhagen.

The King of Norway and members of Amundsen's family were ia the gathering at Oslo, while at Copenhagen the. gathering was addressed by the Crown Prince, who said the Northern Lights were writing Amundsen's name in flames upon the horizon.,
