ARREST OF MRS. MEYRICK.
CHARGE OF SELLING LIQUOR.

In the early hours of this morning Mrs. Meyrick, who has become notorious in connection with night clubs, and who is already on bail in connection with the charges against cx-Station Sergeant Goddard of receiving bribes, was arrested at the Forty-three Club. Sho was lat«r brought beforo (ho Bow Street Court on a charge of selling liquor without a license. Tlio club in which Alls. Meyrick was arrested was raided by the polico in Juno and tho premises were disqualified as a night club for five years. The defendant was remanded, bail being refused.
