HUNTLY FLOWER SHOW.
[BT TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HUNTLY, Saturday. The Summer Show, under the auspices of the Huntly Horticultural and Beautifying Society, was held yesterday and a vory high standard of exhibits was staged. Mr. Lippiatt, of Auckland, exhibited some beautiful roses and a feature of the show was the fine display of gladioli. The secretary, Miss C. S. Burns, had the show well organised arid everything ran without a hitch. The duties of stewards were capably carried out. The points prizes were won as follows: Cut flowers, Mrs. F. Foster; children's cookery, Lorraine Russell; vegetables, Mrs. F. Foster; collection of vegetables, Mr. O. Storey; decorated table, Mrs. Payne.
