NORTH SHORE CLUBThe North Shore P.igeon Club flew its old-bird championship raco on Saturday from Palmorston North, a distanca of 260 miles, v for a club trophy. The event concluded the old-bird programme. Results:— Mr. E. Andrews' bee Silent Cruiser, 904 yds per minute, 1; Mr. H. E. Crowhurst'a boo Glenburn. 903 yds, 2; Mr. W. Walker's bo o Ascot Pride, 902 yds, 3. POINT CHEVALIER CLUB. The Point Chevalier Pigeon Club fiew a thrfce-clock-two race on Saturday from Te Kuiti in ideal flying weather. Results:— Messrs. Moore Bros.' r c h Miss Meroia and boh Consent, 1252 yds per. minute. 1; Mr. C. Howells boh Maid Marion and bed Avon Envoy, 1247 yds, 2: Mr. A. Robertson's b c h Childsplay and gr b Desert Gold. 1240 yds, 8. ' . ' The club will fly a consolation race for unplaced birds next week.
