A MUSICAL EVENING.

On Friday evening Miss Reneo Satchwell, L.R.A.M., gave an interesting musical evening in her studio in the Academy Buildings, the outstanding item of which was a Grieg Concerto played by one of her pupils, Miss Mavis Hewsdn,* who, at the ago of 17, has recently obtained her L.A.B. diploma. Miss Satchwell played with her. Other pupils who gave pianoforte solos were the Misses Grace Figgott, Nancy Arthur, Alison Richardson, Myra Gittos and Mrs. Rhys Richardson. Miss Amy Hansard, L. 11. A.M., delighted tho audience by singing songs from A. A. Milne's "When We Were Very Young." Supper was then served to the guesta.
