XMAS TEA, KNOX HOME.

The wards of the Knox Home presented a festive appearance with their gay streamers and dainty flowers on Saturday afternoon, when the patients were entertained by a concert party consisting of Miss Alma McGruer, Mr. Alan McElwain, Mr. Ernest Snell and Master Harold Tabener. The excellent programme provided by them was much appreciated by all present. After the entertainment tezi was dispensed by a group of ladies, and a very enjoyable time was spent by both the patients and their visitors. Among those helping were Mrs. John Reid, the Misses Souter, Miss Frost, the Misses Murray (2) and Miss Fleming.
