FATAL FALL DOWNSTAIRS.
MAN DIES IN HOSPITAL. [by telegraph.—own correspondent.] CHRISTCHURCH, Monday. Through falling down a stairway at tlio Empire Ilotol 011 Saturday evening, a married man, Daniel Cosgrove, aged 47, fractured tho base of his skull and djed in tho Christchurch Hospital this morning. Deceased was a labourer.
