SCHOOL BUILDINGS WORK. "Wo greatly appreciate tlio encouragement give us by the Mayor and by tho chairman of tho Education Board," said tho secretary »f tho Auckland Unemployment Association yesterday. A deputation of unemployed mon waited on Mr. A Burns of tho Education Board, and pointed out that among tho many seeking work in Auckland were a number of painters, who might bo engaged in tho repainting of school buildings during tho holidays. Mr. Burns assured tho men that then need would receive full consideration when work was offering.
