NEW MODEL BUICK CAR.
BIRTHDfiY CELEBRATIONS. As a novel means of introducing to tho public tho silver anniversary model Buick cars, Neal Motors, Limited, Auckland distributors of Buick cars, presented a play-' cttc entitled "When Better Cars are Built." at their premises last evening. Tho scheme was evolved at short notice:,, and gives an adequate idea of tho speed with which expression is given to business ideas in these days when every minute counts. The play was suggested 011 Wednesday, written and rehearsed 0:1 Thursday, and was ready for production last evening. Mr. W. F. Neal, manager, was responsible for its authorship, and was assisted by a number of Auckland amateurs in its production. As tho idea was novel, so was tho presentation. A country squire, the possessor of a daughter and a car. iinds his estato mortgaged to tho hilt. Oil tho day ofhis daughter's 25th birthday (of especial significance, as tho Buick factory was established 25 years ago!, 110 decides that all ho can present her with is tho car. It is driven on tho stage, a magnificent anniversary model Buick, .glittering beforo. tlio footlights, its graceful lines reflecting to the fullest, extent tlio industrial enterprise of its makers. . . Great is tho 'jubilation, and tho final scene, finds audience and players participating in the birthday celebrations, and forming an admiring throng about tho new model.
