BOYS FROM BRITAIN.
SETTLEMENT ON THE LAND. PROPOSALS IN TARANAKI. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] NEW PLYMOUTH, Friday, Lord Lovat, chairman of the Overseas Settlement Committee, arrived at New Plymouth this evening and conferred with representatives of the Taranaki Chamber of Commerce. A scheme for the purchase of land for boys by the British and New Zealand Governments was presented to Lord Lovat, who said he would give it careful consideration and discuss it with Mr. Coates and his Ministry.
