RAILWAYS AGREEMENT.
more workers ratify. (Received August 13, O.G p.m.) British Wireless, RUGBY. Aug. 12. The railway workshop employees last evening accepted the agreement with the railway companies for a 2Jy per cent, reduction in wages and salaries. The agreement had already been appioved by the locomotive engineers and firemen and by the National Union of Railwaymen. Tho only ratification now required is that of the Railway Clerks' Association, whose acceptance is fully anticipated.
