ROTARY CLUB.

THE WEEKLY LUNCHEON. The weekly luncheon of the Auckland Rotary Club was held yesterday, tho vicepresident, Mr. S. Reid, presiding. Visitors included Mr. W. Hill and Mr. J. M. Gurr, Wellington ; Mr. C. Hilncr, of Nelson ; and Mr. L. Aekins, secretary of the War Pensions' Appeal Board. The chairman referred to the excelleut work carried out at the club stall at Friday's street collection for children's social service. A total of £B9 was collected at the stall. The speaker was Canon Grant Cowen, who addressed members on social work in the city. *
