DEBATE IN CANADIAN HOUSE. WITHDRAWAL OF AMENDMENT. Australian Press Association—United Service (Received May 30, 5.5 p.m.) OTTAWA. May 29. Tn the House of Commons, Mr. Henri Bourassa to-day withdrew his amendment to the motion to vote supply for tho Department of External Affairs. This amendment expressed regret that proper steps had not been taken to give full effect, both in domestic and in external affairs, to the equality of status acknowledged by the last Imperial Conference to be a fundamental principle of the relations between the self-governing British Dominions.
