The Kait.angata arrived from Greymouth yesterday morning and berthed at Western Wharf. She is expected to complete discharge this evening and sail at ten o'clock lor Portland to load cement for New Plymouth and Wellington. THE RIMUTAKA. The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Rirnutaka left Wellington at seven o'clock yesterday morning in continuation of her voyage from Loudon to Auckland. She is expected to arrive to-morrow morning and will b&fth at Prince's Wharf. After completion of discharge of her general merchandise cargo the vessel will commence loading at Auckland for lier homeward voyage. Her other loading ports are New Plymouth. Wanganui, Lyttelton and Wellington. She is scheduled to sail from Wellington for Southampton and London on June 27. OIL FOR ATLANTIC UNION. Burns, Philp and Company, Ltd., have received advice that the Norwegian motor tanker Ranja is due at Auckland from Los Anjtles next Monday with 1,000,000 gallons of bulk oil for the Atlantic Union Company. She will unload a quantity of the cargo into the company's taiiKS at freemar's Bay a fid the remainder at Wellington. The Atlantic Union is a newly-formed company and it has storage tanks and oil stores at. Auckland, Wellington. Melbourne and Sydney. The Ranja s cargo will be the first shipment of bulk oil for the company's New Zealand stores. THE WINGATUI. The Wingatui arrived yesterday morning *ith produce and general cargo from Wellington and South Island porta She is inloading at Queen's Wharf. The vessel was delayed on the trip by very stormy weather. She sailed from Wellington on Saturdny evening and encountered a northerly gale after rounding Cape Palliser, In the Bay of Plenty the wind changed to the west and blew with such force that the vessel could hardly make progress against the rough seas. An arrival at Auckland last evening was •he French steamer Leopold L.D. with 6900 tons of sulphur from Texas. THE RARANGA. The Shaw. Saviil and Albion steamer Raranga, which reached New Plymouth from Brisbane last Monday, will continue loading at Lyttelton, Wellington. Napier, Gisborne and Auckland. L. D. Nathan and Company, Ltd., the local agents, advise that the vessel is scheduled to reach Auckland on June 14 and to sail three days later for New York, Boston and London. VELACIA LEAVES LIVERPOOL. Running under the auspices- of Commonwealth and Dominion Line, the Cunard steamer Velacia is reported to have sailed from Liverpool for New Zealand last Sunday. Sho is bringing general merchandise from West Coast ports of Great Britain for discharge at Auckland, Wellington. Lyttelton and Dunedin. Her arrival at Auckland is expected about July 10. She is .a vessel of 6560 tons, and was built at Port Glasgow .by Messrs. Russell and Company in 1910. Her former name was the Luceric. THE WAIPAHI. Having completed her first voyage this year to the Cook Islands the Union Company's island steamer Waipahi returned to Auckland yesterday afternoon. Bhe last three days cf the voyage were very boisterous and on luesdav night the wind blew, with gale force from the west, accompanied by very rough seas. The Shaw, Saviil and Albion liner Tainui. which is due at Auckland from London and Southampton on Sunday morning, has 138 passengers, as well as 851 bags of parcel mail and 44 bags of letters for New Zealand. A further wireless message from the vessel yesterday stated that all are well on board. The vessel's general merchandise car"o will be unloaded at Auckland and Wellington.
