SETTLEMENT REACHED. An agreement between the parties was reached yesterday in the case before the Supreme Court, in which Messrs. J. Wildridge and Sinclair, insulating engineers (Mr. Anderson ;, claimed £226 12s 6d from Messrs. Radley and Company, fruit merchants (Mr. Finlay and Mr. Mackay), for work done and material used. The do fendant, company counter-claimed for £661 3s 31 d for loss suffered and general dam ages. After considerable evidence had been given for defendant concerning the nature and quality of the work done on his pre mises, the parties conferred and reported that a settlement had been reached privately.
