MANY MOTORISTS FINED. * CASES OF DANGEROUS DRIVING. B _ 7 Prosecutions of numerous motorists for 3 breaches of by-laws occupied the attention of Mr. P. X. Hunt, S.M., and Mr. W. R. McKcan, S.M., in the Police Court ■ yesterday. A fine of £6 was imposed on C. M. Rich-White for dangerous driving. It Was stated lie registered a speed of 46 miles an hour on the Great South Road. Stanley H. Bidwell, who drove at 41 miles an hour, was fined £5. On similar charges A. R. Dallow, A. E. Thomas, J. I Williams and Stanley M. Chiles were fined £2. a fine of 30s being imposed on . A. ,T. Whatling. L. G. Patterson, P. j Stubbing, E. Guinan and R. J. Williams, f G. A. Paul was fined £1 for negligent driving and £2 for using obscene language subsequent to a collision which occurred j between his vehicle and a cart. " For negligent driving Percy Campbell 3 and Shew Ke were fined £2 each, Campbell also being fined 10s for having no driver's licence. On a charge of passing a tramcar. G. H.
