AIRWAY TO INDIA.
PERSIA TO NEGOTIATE. AGREEMENT CONCLUDED. British Wireless. RUGBY, May 14. In the House of Commons the- Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Sir Ansten Chamberlain, announced the conclusion of an agreement with Persia, under which the Persian Government had expressed its willingness to enter into negotiations with the British Imperial Airways Company, Limited, regarding the conditions under which air services between Egypt and India should be operated.
Sir Austen said he had taken the opportunity of expressing the satisfaction of the British Government with the agreement reached.
