Horton, all square; Mrs. Joplin and Miss Williams, all square: Mrs. Mcllraith defeated Mrs. Gyllies, 5 and 4: Mrs. Richardson defeated Mrs. Broughton, 2 up; Mrs. Baird defeated Mrs. Siddell. 9 and 7; Miss Blackburn defeated Miss Preece, fi and 5; Mrs. O'Leary defeated Miss M. Miller. 2 up. The best score returned in the medal match was that of Miss R. Daines, 98, 17— 81. The second round will be played on Tuesday next. A medal liandicap_ match will be held for those not engaged in match play. Post entries will be received, players to choose their own partners. A match for C grade players will be held on Friday next, commencing at 10.30. Players are to choose their own partners.

AUCKLAND LADIES' CLUB. A bogey match was played by members of the Auckland Ladies' Golf Club at Middlemore yesterday, when the record number of 78 players took part. Following were the best scores returned:—Miss P. Orr. 4 up: Mrs. Bradley, Miss M. Wclkley, 2 up; Mrs. Cox, Mrs. Friedlapder, 1 up; Miss E. Mahoney, Mrs. Finn, Mrs. Boddington. all square.

The first round of the match-play foursomes for prizes presented by the captain. Miss J. M. Keid, will be played next Tuesday.
