SHORTHORN BREEDERS.
THE VVAIKATO BRANCH.

At tho annual meeting of the Waikatc branch of the New Zealand Milking Shorthorn Breeders' Association the president, Mr. R. D. Duxfield, stated that the financial position was sound. The branch had a membership of 89, of whom 76 had paid their subscriptions to March 31. The election of officers resulted in Mr. R. D. Duxfield being again selected as president and Mr. A. VV. Green hon. secretary. The members elected to the council were Messrs. H. Giles (Monovale, Cambridge), G. D. Hall (Kiokio), R. Ranstead (Matangi). Messrs. Duxfield and Green were appointed delegates to the Combined Breeders' Association.
