The Vancouver Theatre Guild, for promoting dramatic art in British Columbia, has engaged Mr. Richard Be'lairs, an Australian, as its director. He is a native of Kyneton, Victoria. He has played in Sydney, and is well-known in New Zealand. He served in tho war with the Anzacs in Palestine and Egypt.
