DRAMA IN VANCOUVER.
PROMOTING BRITISH ART. AUSTRALIAN DIRECTOR CHOSEN. Australian and N.Z. Press Association. (Received May 6, 5.5 p.m.) VANCOUVER, May 5. The Vancouver Theatre Guild, for promoting dramatic art in British Columbia, has engaged Mr. Richard Be'lairs, an Australian, as its director. He is a native of Kyneton, Victoria. He has played in Sydney, and is well-known in New Zealand. He served in tho war with the Anzacs in Palestine and Egypt.
