LINER, CRIPPLED.

PORT PROPELLER LOST. COMORIN REACHES PLYMOUTH. (Received May 6. 5.50 p.m.) United Service. LONDON. May 5. Tlio P. and 0. liner Comorin, 15,000 tons, arrived at Plymouth to day. She lost her port propeller on the night of May 1 after she had left Gibraltar. The ship trembled from stem to stern. The majority of the passengers were asleep at, the time and there was no panic. The voyage was resumed under the starboard engine, and although the vessel was crippled she covered 300 miles a day across th® Bay of Biscay. Two hundred passengers disembarked afc Plymouth, including Sir Tom Bridges, formerly Governor of South Australia. The Comorin is a vessel of 15,116 tons. Sho was built in 1925 by Messrs. Barclay, Curie and Company at Glasgow.
