UNIONS IN VICTORIA.

MEMBERSHIP OF 15,000. LARGEST TOTAL FOR YEARS. (Received May 6, 6.5 p.m.) MELBOURNE, May 6. A return issued by the Trades Hall Council shows that 15,000 men are members of the unions. The largest section is the Carpenters and Builders Labourers' Union, with 2500 members. The total is the largest the city has known for many years.
