In the inter-State eight-oared race on the Nepean River, over a course of three miles, the result was:—Western Australia, 1; Queensland, 2; Tasmania, 3. All the State competed. Won by a length and a quarter. The winners hold the King*a Cup. The single sculls race, over two and ahalf miles, resulted :—Pearce, New South Wales, 1: Marsh, Tasmania, 2; CamTiridge, Victoria, 3. Won by 10 lengths. Time, 15m 30 2-ss, a record for the event. Pearce will be the Australian sculling representative at the Olympic Games at Amsterdam.
