CRUELTY TO RABBITS.
. Sir,—l 6hould like to '(irect the attention of the Society for the Prevention cf Cruelty to Animals to thn practice of some rabbiters who, on Saturdays, do not immediately kill the rabbits they take out of traps, but put thern in a sack and keep them aJiv«< for a day before killing. If society would advertise a warning that any rabbiter doing this would be proseeuted and a sever* penalty pressed for, I think it would put a stop to this cruel practice. Farmer.
