ALLEGATION OF THEFT.
OPOTIKI YOUTH CHARGED. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] OPOTIKI. Saturday. Following a complaint by a garage proprietor at Opotiki regarding loss of money from his safe, investigations were made by the police, and Detective McLeod arrested a youth, who appeared in the Police Court this morning. He was charged with breaking, entering and theft. Accused was remanded until Monday morning, bail not being allowed.
