LATE MR. HENRY SHAW.
The funeral of tho late Mr. Henry Shaw, which took place on Saturday, was attended by a large number of friends. There was a service at the house of the late Mr. Shaw's brother, Mr. C. J. Shaw, Fairview Road, Mount Eden, conducted by the Rev. J. Hislop, of All Saints' Church, Ponsor.by, who also read the service at the graveside at Purewa Cemjtery. Among those present were Mr. J. S. Brigham, town clerk, and Messrs. A. J. Entrican and M. J. Bennett, members of the City Council, Mr. H. E. Vaile, representing the Auckland Museum, and Mr. Cunningham, acting-city librarian. Many beautiful wreaths were received from aIJ; parts of the Dominion.
