AIR FORCE CONTRACT.

AUXitIARY MOTOR-CARS. ORDER F&R 327 MACHINES. LONDON. Feb. IG, The Times says the Air Ministry has placed a contract for 327 six-wheeled automobiles with the Morris Car Company. They are of 19 types, to meet the specialised requirements of military aviation. They include crash lorries, aeroplane trailers, aerodrome' tractors, wireless lorries, mobile repair shops, bomb lorries, torpedo carriers, photographic lorries, vehicles for delivering -hot water for aeroplane radiators, and also hot oil, to prevent loss of time in warming up engines in cold weather. The chassis selected fire of a 16ft. Bin. wheel base, and are also of the colonial type for use at home and overseas, whero they will facilitate transport on sandy* surfaces.
