BACK-FIRE ON A HILL.

[bi telegraph.—own correspondent.] NEW PLYMOUTH, Thursday. A one-ton motor-truck, owned by Love ridge Bros., storekeepers of Tariki, was totally 'destroyed, by fire at_ Ratapiko. The vehicle was climbing a hill when it back-fired several times and flames shot up through the floor boards. The truck was insured with the 'New Zealand Insurance Company.
