AIBURNIA OPERATtONS. REPORT FOR HALF-YEAR. The half-yearly report of the Alburnia Gold Mining Company, Limited, states that the gold-beavihg zone has been proved to exist' in the Orlando and Sons of Freedom series of reefs, and recent opera* tions are showing values as the reefs are worked upon. The value of the property has been greatly increased and the prospects of securing richer values arc decidedly encouraging. . Full details of the operations for the half-year are given in the report of the mine manager, Mr. T. Gillan. WAIHI CRUSHING RETURNS. [B-X TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WAIHI, Thursday. The following information has beten cabled to the London office of the Waihi Goldmining Company:— For the period ending February 11, comprising 29 crushing days. 22,464 tons of ore were crushed for. a result of 17Uo flue oiihces of gold and 38,472 fine ounces of silver. Included in these figures are 3190 tons-mined from the Grand Junction area, which yielded 1381 fine ounces of cold and 4677 fine ounces of silvor. No. 10 level .-.-Driving west on the west lode the next 33ft. shows no change.;
