Private advice has been received that the time of Miss Ena Stockley. of Aucklnmd, in winning the 100 yards ladies' championship of Australia at Melbourne laat Saturday was 67 4-ss, not 60 4-ss. as previously reported. In recording this time Miss Stockley was responsible for an excellent performance, for she swam i<n fresh water over a 50 yards course, there being only one turn. H«r time betters by 4-5s her New, Zealand fresh water record of 68 8-ss, which she established in the Dominion championship at Duncdin last month.
