In recording this time Miss Stockley was responsible for an excellent performance, for she swam i<n fresh water over a 50 yards course, there being only one turn. H«r time betters by 4-5s her New, Zealand fresh water record of 68 8-ss, which she established in the Dominion championship at Duncdin last month.
