DISSATISFIED RATEPAYERS. STRONG FEELING AT STRATFORD. [ox TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] STRATFORD, Tuesday. A large meeting of ratepayers of this Taranaki Power Board's -district was hell to-day and it was decided io form a ratepayers* association. A motion was passed to the effect that the Power Board had lost the confidence of ratepayers, exception being taken to works costing much over '.he estimate and details of balance-sheet being withheld from the public. chairman of the Po\yer Board given permission to address the meeting but was not granted a hearing.
