PROSPERITY IN FIJI.
ROOM FOR DEVELOPMENT. TRADE RECIPROCITY URGED. A. and N.Z. ~ SYDNEY. Nov. 18. Sir Eyre Hutson, the Governor of Fiji, arrived here by the Sierra on a holiday tour. He advocated reciprocity of trade between Australia and New Zealand and British possessions in the Pacific, which, he said, was a factor which would make for progress in the Pacific. He added that Fiji had recovered from the labour troubles which resulted in thestoppage of shipments of coolies from India. A period of prosperity was ahead.
