PRESENTATION TO NATION. GIFT OF LONDON -SURGEON. » - (Received September 7, 5.10 p.m.) A. and N.Z. LONDON. Sept. 6. As the result of Sir Arthur Keith's presidential address at the recent Leeds meeting of the British Association for the Advancement of Science, Mr. George Browne, a London surgeon, has offered to purchase Charles Darwin's former home, at Downe, in Kent, for presentation to the nation. The British Association has gratefully accepted the offer.
