LICENSING COMMITTEE.
GRANTING OF TRANSFERS. The Auckland Licensing Committee mot yesterday, the chairman, Mr. E. C. Cutten, S.M.. presiding. The following transfers were granted:— Imperial Hotel, 11. W. Saunders to F. G. Young; Star Hotel, Newton, G. H. St. C. Foster to E. R. Baddiley; Edinburgh Castle Hotel, E. G. St. C. Foster to G. H. Foster; Gleeson's Hotel, W. C. Waugh to T. Richards; Strand Hotel, A. Cleary to B'. Frost. The transfer of a y/ine licence from G. Black to J. E. Haughie was approved.
