SCIENTISTS AT LEEDS.
CONFERENCE ASSEMBLES. DARWIN'S THEORY SUPPORTED. (Received August 31, 5.5 p.m.) Snn LONDON, Aug. 30. Two thousand five hundred scientists from all parts of the world, half of whom are women, have assembled at Leeds ior the conference of the British Association. In Sir Arthur Keith's presidential address he will reaffirm the Darwinian theory of man's descent from monkeys.
