BANQUET TO THE TEAM. SPORTSMANSHIP EULOGISED. A. and X.Z.-Sun. LONDON, Aug. 19. • Arrangements have been made for the New Zealand cricketers to plav a match against Richmond on August 29 in aid of the Richmond Hospital and St. DunEtans Institution for the Blind. This match will take the place of the one originally fixed for the same date against the London Club,, which was cancelled. The president of the Lancashire County Cricket Association, Sir Edwin Stockton, gave a banquet last evening to the New Zealanders, the Lancashire team and lead ing supporters of the gameIn toasting the New Zealandeis, Sir Edwin said they were fine fellows and excellent sportsmen. He was delighted at their visit and everyone was glad they had done well. He welcomed them not only" as cricketers but as members of the ■British Empire,' the bonds of which cricket had cemented.
