ITEMS OF INTEREST.

A feature of the programme to be sent out by the Auckland station this evening will be selections by the Ponsonby Boys Band. The band will be assisted by a number of first-class aitists. The Central Mission Band is to supply much of the music to be broadcast from the Wellington station this evening. Mr. T G Osborne, a tenor with London experience " and Miss E. Brice, an elecution--Ist very successful in Wellington competitions, will also contribute to the programme The series of addresses which Miss M. J. Shaw is giving from the Christ church station under the auspices of the Home Economics Association will be continued this evening when her subject will be "A Square Meal." Listeners tuning in, to the Brisbane station this evening will have the opportunity of hearing an orchestra of 1000 violins. The actual time of the relay will be announced during the evening.
