TAKAPUNA BOATING CLUB.
DISTRIBUTION OF PRIZES. The annual prize distribution of the Takapuna Boating Club was held in the clubhouse at Bayawater last evening. The function took the form of a dance, and there were about 200 persons present. The dancehall was gaily decorated. The walls were lined with painted .scenery, while many coloured balloons and streamers completed tho festive appearance. The visitors were welcomed by the commodore. Mr. P. G. Eason. Prizes were presented by Mr. W. Blomfield, vice-patron of, tho ciub. A special feature was ' made of the presentation of the Cornwell Cup, won this year by I. McMasters and J. D. McGregor.
