PRESENTATION.

Mr. M. Peat, who has relinquished .his position as manager of the National BanK of New Zealand at Paparoa, to take the post of manager at the Hastings branch of the bank, was tendered a farewell at Paparoa by members of the combined staffs of the bank at Paparoa and Maungaturoto. Mr. E. E. Mace, of the Paparoa branch presented Mr. Peat wstti » case of pipes, and a rose bowl for Mrs. Peat. Mr. Mace testified to the pleasant relations between Mr Peat and the fit.cls, and the esteem in which the recipisn was held.
