DEER-STALKERS' SUCCESS.

FINE 15-POINTER SECURED. GUNS IN TAUMARUNUI DISTRICT, fBTT TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.! TAUMARUNUI, Wednesday. During the past week deer-stalkers have been very active in the Taumarunui district. In their efforts to secure heads, Messrs. R. Winger and J. Bryan recently paid a visit to Taringamotu, and the latter secured a 10-pointer. On Monday, Mr. J. N. Barlow, of Morrinsville, who had camped in. Taringamotu Valley, was successful in shooting a 15-pointer. Tins head is almost perfect, and experts consider it one of the best shot in the district.
