There were record entries and a largo attendance. Among those present was the Prime Minister, Mr. Coates, who was welcomed by the president of the association, Mr. \Y. Montgomery. The Waitemala Agricultural and Pastoral Association' 3 twenty-second annual, show was held at Waiwera 011 Saturday, in perfect weather. There was an excellent attendance. and the show was a complete success. , . The total number of entries was practically the same as last year, in spito of the fact that the unfavourable season resulted in a very small showing in the fruit and vegetable sections. Entries in other indoor classes were good, and some excellent exhibits were Been, particularly in the fancywork classes. . , 111 the sheep, cattle .and horse sections there was an increase in entries compared with last year, thus compensating for the decreased entries of fruit, and vegetables. The standard of the animals exhibited was good throughout, and some very fine stocrt was to be seen in some classes..
