The keenest satisfaction is felt on the Tyne and the Tees owing to the fact that shipbuilders in these districts have secured ortSers for six oil tankers of a total value of £1,000,000 from the Gulf Refining Company, of Pittsburgh, United States.
The contracts were secured in the face of fierce Continental competition.
