Our North Tarauaki correspondent writes:—"The report submitted to the committee on the operations of the Stratford Demonstration Dairy Farm show that the 60 cows oduced 26451b. oi butter-fat during October. The cowtesting association statistics show that the herd averaged 49.641b ol butter-fat, as against the association's average of 56.2« lb This should show farmers what can bo done by systematic culling and proper feeding, as the Demonstration t arm Committee started operations with a very ordinary b«rd a few years ajo and an average tarm.
